Awards season trundles on, and today it was the turn of the British Independent Film Awards to announce their nominees. Up for the most potential awards this year are films such as Lady Macbeth, The Death Of Stalin and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

While some of the films listed here have yet to see a UK release, there is a wide variety of nominated people and movies, and a welcome recognition of some great work such as God's Own Country, I Am Not A Witch and Daphne.

The awards ceremony will take place on 10 December, with Mark Gatiss acting as host and Gary Oldman scheduled to receive the 2017 Variety Award. Find the full list of nominees below, and good luck to all those on the list.
