Michael Winterbottom's The Killer Inside Me has gathered endless controversy since its Sundance debut earlier this year, but as its UK release (June 4) approaches, here's a clip from the film to give you a taste of its twisted world.

The film is seen almost entirely through the eyes of deputy sheriff Lou Ford (Casey Affleck), a small-town good ol' boy with psychopathic tendencies. Here, he and Sheriff Bob Maples (Tom Bower) and new cop in town, Howard (Simon Baker) take Lou out to the scene of a murder that he is actually responsible for. As you'll see, Howard is suspicious of his squeaky-clean colleague.

The film also stars Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson, as well as Ned Beatty, Elias Koteas and Bill Pullman in a bizarre blink-and-you'll miss it scene.
