Nicole Kidman will star in and take production duties on a big screen adaptation of the Broadway hit Rabbit Hole. The play by David Lindsay-Abaire, who will adapt for the screen, concerns a married couple whose lives are torn asunder by tragedy and the journey they undergo to regain happiness. It's not going to be one to go to on a first date.
The play opened on Broadway in early 2006 and was an instant critical success. It picked up six Tony Award nomination and snagged a win in Best Actress for former Sex And The City star Cynthia Nixon, whose role Kidman will take over.
