The partnership between David O. Russell and Jennifer Lawrence is now three movies strong and getting stronger with each. Their latest collaboration, Joy, comes festooned with Oscar-y buzz. Take a look at its new poster, freshly launched online.

Like their last pairing, American Hustle, Russell and Lawrence have teamed up to tell a true-life story. Here the actress steps into the shoes of Joy Mangano, a put-upon single mum whose genius for invention and appetite for hard work combined to see her pioneer the Miracle Mop. Reunited with the pair are Bradley Cooper as the Home Shopping Network exec who helps Joy on the path to fame and future, while Robert De Niro plays her dad and Edgar Ramirez is her ex-husband.

"Working on his sets is like the Olympics of acting,” Lawrence effused in EW of reuniting with director. "Everything moves so fast. It's like watching someone do a giant abstract painting or sculpture and you go, 'Where is this going?' And then all of a sudden you're like, 'Oh, it's a Pegasus. It's beautiful!'"

Co-starring when Joy makes its UK bow on January 1 are Isabella Rossellini and Virginia Madsen. Will it be a fourth Academy Award nod for Lawrence? Don’t bet against it. Head here for more on the film from Russell.
