Jennifer's Body For Megan Fox

Two of the hottest women in Hollywood are teaming up on a movie that, even at this early stage, is placing high on Empire’s ‘must see’ list.

Megan Fox – the unbelievably gorgeous female lead of this year’s Transformers – has signed on to star in a supernatural black comedy called Jennifer’s Body, written by Diablo Cody, the blogger turned screenwriter of the excellent Juno who may even have rivalled Fox for column inches generated this year.

Named after a Hole song, the movie is based on a spec script by Cody that was picked up last week by Fox Atomic, which is aiming to make the movie before a possible writers’ strike next summer (or sooner).

The movie, which will boast a tone similar to Beetlejuice or Heathers (gotta aim high) will follow Fox as a cheerleader with a perfect life… until, that is, she gets possessed and starts bumping off boys in her small hometown, prompting her best friend to try to stop her.

Sounds pretty cool – Fox didn’t have a lot to do in Transformers but look gorgeous, so this will be a true test of her abilities. As for Cody, Juno is a little gem, and we look forward to a second helping of her quirk.

Mason Novick will produce, with no director attached as of yet.
