Hiiiiiyaaaaaaa! Anyhoo, Allen and Albert Hughes (From Hell) will direct Kung Fu, based on the 1970s TV series about a Shaolin monk who flees China for the American West for a spot of do-gooding. Cory Goodman (who is currently working on an adaptation of the comic book Priest) will write the script.
The film is scheduled to shoot next year for a 2008 release. David Caradine is unlikely to reprise his lead role, which is the polar opposite of awesome.
