Right, this story is more barking than a little yappy dog rubbing against a tree in an East London suburb near Dagenham. Helen Mirren – that's Oscar winning proper actress and sexiest older lady in the world, Helen Mirren - is to star in National Treasure: Book Of Secrets. This being the sequel to the film that holds the record for using the words "Declaration of Independence" the most in a movie and being mediocre.
Mirren will play the mother of Nicolas Cage's character in the sequel. She'll help Cage's character discover a link to John Wilkes Booth and the mysterious Knights of the...sorry we just can't finish this sentence, it's too silly [Ed's note: it's Knights of the Gold Circle].
And what's equally bat shit crazy is that the brilliant Ed Harris will play the movie's villain. So clearly something has gone amiss and this sequel boasts the best script in the world right now. So, yipee for National Treasure 2 and bring on February 2008!
