If you’re as impatient as, say, Rocket Raccoon when it comes to seeing Guardians Of The Galaxy – and you really only have 30 or so days to wait – help is at hand. Marvel and IMAX are putting on a 3D first look at 17 minutes of footage from the film on July 8.
The screening opportunity follows a similar event set for July 7 in the States (details are here, but tickets have been going fast). UK cinemagoers have the chance to get in on a screening at the Empire Leicester Square in London at 7pm.
“We’ve re-mastered some of our epic sequences into the IMAX 3D format, taking the scope and scale to new heights while creating a truly immersive, cinematic experience that will take you further into the Marvel Universe than ever before,” says director James Gunn, who is even now putting the final touches to the film.
Tickets are offered as part of a competition, but you have to sign up right here between July 1 and July 4 for the chance to attend. All those who get in will also score a limited edition Guardians IMAX poster. Get clicking, people…
