The first teaser for legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer drove up in November and now, as the release date looms ever closer, the full trailer has arrived, and you can watch it below.
Adapted from bestselling crime writer Michael Connelly’s tome, The Lincoln Lawyer features Matthew McConaughey as Michael “Mick” Haller, a charming, if occasionally sleazy lawyer who runs his business from the back of his Lincoln sedan car. Usually he’s to be found defending petty thieves and street thugs, but when he’s offered the chance to represent a rich playboy (Ryan Phillippe) who’s facing attempted murder charges, Haller can’t resist. But what seems at first to be a fairly open-and-shut case turns out to have a lot more wrinkles, which irks Haller’s conscience and puts him and his family in danger.
While this trailer is essentially a repeat of the teaser footage with added extras, we do at least get a proper look at some of the solid supporting cast for the film, which includes Marisa Tomei, William H Macy, Josh Lucas, Michael Pena, John Leguizamo and Bryan Cranston.
**The Lincoln Lawyer **is out on March 18.
