Vince Vaughn isn't having the best time of it right now, as his latest comedy The Internship (which hits our cinemas on Wednesday), hasn’t been performing as well as hoped across the pond. So he’ll be expecting better things from comedy remake Delivery Man.

Though we got a look at a teaser back in May, this is the full on first promo, showing more of the film’s emotional beats.

Vaughn plays David Wozniak, a 40-something year old slob who did some stupid things to earn a living when he was much younger. When he is visited by an official from the local sperm bank, he discovers that one of those stupid things has led to him fathering no fewer than 533 children after donating his seed back in the nineties, and now he's up against a lawsuit from 142 of them who are demanding to know his real identity after only being informed of his alias 'Starbuck'.

With a lawyer (Chris Pratt) who thinks the best course of action is to plead insanity in court, David must consider whether or not he should come forward or retreat and fight for his anonymity.

Meanwhile, his current girlfriend Emma (Cobie Smulders) is having second thoughts about him as she finds herself pregnant, fretting over whether he can face up to his responsibilities...

Can Vaughn score a bigger success blending heart and laughs than he managed alongside Owen Wilson in the Google-com? We’ll find out when the film arrives on October 11, more than a month before it hits the US.
