ROSE MCGOWAN PLAYS B MOVIE LEGEND

Fresh off of Grindhouse, Rose McGowan – who stars in both parts of the Tarantino / Rodriguez double bill – has signed on to play B movie star Susan Cabot in Black Oasis. The biopic will be directed by Stephan Elliot, who most famously called the shots on Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert. The story is quite a sad one – Cabot was a favourite of Roger Corman, who was murdered by her own son at the age of 59.

DIRK BOGARDE HAS AN OFFICIAL SITE

If it's good enough for loads of nobodies, why shouldn't a British acting legend have one too? Dirk's nephew Brock van der Bogarde has complied information for and create the Definitive Dirk Bogarde Website which you can visit here, for all your Dirk Bogarde needs. We recommend looking up Hunted, in which Dirk played a wanted man who takes a young boy hostage – both performances are superb.

MORE CASTING FOR WINGED CREATURES

Earlier in the week we brought the good news that Jackie Earle Haley has joined the cast for Rowan Woods' Winged Creatures, and there's been two more announced today. Jeannie Tripplehorn and Embeth Davidtz wilol join Guy Pearce, Dakota Fanning, Forest Whitaker and Kate Beckinsale. The Hollywood Reporter has found out that Tripplehorn will play Fanning's mother, playing (as presumably are all of the cast) witnesses to a murder / suicide in a fast food restaurant, all struggling to come to terms with the shocking event.
