As is usual for such things, the promotional campaign for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 has ben rolling slowly out with a drip-feed imagery for both the Capitol and the rebels from the Districts trying to change the world. We’ve had a series of posters featuring the rebellious characters, but Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen only appeared facing away from the camera. Finally, here’s the proper Katniss poster, online to herald the arrival of the new trailer in a few days.
The first part of Mockingjay, adapted by Danny Strong from Suzanne Collins’ third novel, finds Katniss and the other rebels finally taking their fight to the Capitol and its PR-happy leader, President Snow (Donald Sutherland). But the fight against the all-powerful rulers will not be an easy one, and everyone involved will have to sacrifice if the Districts are to be finally free. {Hunger Games: Mockingjay Rebel Images}
With Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Julianne Moore, Josh Hutcherson, Natalie Dormer, Liam Hemsworth, Elder Henson, Wes Chatham, Mahershala Ali, Evan Ross and Philip Seymour Hoffman all part of the cast and Francis Lawrence calling the shots, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 will be out on November 21, with the second part following on November 20, 2015.
