After months of speculating, random promotional pictures and the odd teasing bit of film, the first proper full-length trailer for Fox’ big fantasy hope, Eragon, has now struck the Internet.
For the first time we get a proper look at the likes of Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich and young newcomer Ed Speleers doing their best to convince us that this is more than just another fantasy epic.
Do they succeed? Hhhm… Given the source material (another youngster with no idea that he’s fated to save his lands from a diabolical evil that will stop at nothing to kill him) it’s tough not to judge Eragon based on what has gone before. Irons occasionally looks worried that he's walked into the next Dungeons And Dragons, but Malkovich seems to be having fun. As for Speleers - early Haley Joel Osment or early Dan Radcliffe?
