Some actors would be happy just appearing in one potential film that is selling its rights at the Cannes Film Festival market. But not the ever-busy Daniel Radcliffe, who is following the announcement of Guns Akimbo earlier in the week with word that he's also attached to a thriller called Escape From Pretoria.

This one actually has its roots in a real-life story, as it'll be based on Tim Jenkin's autobiography Inside Out: Escape From Pretoria Prison. He's best known as the anti-apartheid activist who managed to break out of the Pretoria Maximum Security Prison alongside fellow inmates Stephen Lee and Alex Moumbaris.

After they escaped, they disappeared into the LA underground, where they survive as soldiers of fort... Hang on, no, that's The A Team. Jenkin actually went on to work for the International Defence and Aid Fund for Southern Africa.

Francis Annane, who has worked as a cinematographer and directed shorts, will make his full-length directorial debut with the film, kicking off shooting early next year in South Africa.
