Both Daniel Radcliffe and Zachary Quinto have films on the way that are based on real events, and they're sticking with that real-world inspiration for a new movie, called We Do Not Forget.

The drama will spin a fictionalised account of a real battle between the hacker collective known as Anonymous and Mexican drug cartel Los Zetas. After Anonymous apparently discovered 25,000 Mexican government emails that carried Zetas member names and business information, the group threatened to release the information after one of its members was taken hostage by the cartel. For their part, the Zetas hired security experts to track down the hackers, and the plan also caused friction within the group, with some worried that targeting such a dangerous organisation put everyone at risk.

While there have been some despite as it how serious it all got, Zach Helm has found enough to work into a script and will direct the film via First Look Media, which will likely be selling the rights at this month's Toronto Film Festival.

Radcliffe has Imperium headed our way on September 23 (and he'll be talking about both that and Swiss Army Man at Empire Live), while Quinto's next delve into truthful events will be in Oliver Stone's Snowden, which will screen at the BFI London Film Festival but has yet to announce a general release in the UK.
