Dane Cook's film career has had a few false starts. The successful US stand-up comic missed with Waiting and Employee of the Month. So he'll be hoping that Bachelor No. 2 might be the one to kickstart some big screen success.
In the comedy, to be directed by Howard Deutch (The Whole Ten Yards - oh dear), Cook will play a man named Tank who is hired to take girls on terrible dates so that they'll go crawling back to their dumped boyfriends. When his best friend asks him to perform said service on his girlfriend he struggles with his the true meaning of friendship and the desire to stick it in a lady. Tough call.
