Columbus Short (awesome name, by the way) has become the latest actor to sign on to the Warner Bros. adaptation of the dark DC comic book, The Losers.
The 26 year-old actor will join Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana and Idris Elba in the movie version of the Vertigo comic book, about a black ops unit filled with disparate, larger-than-life characters, which is betrayed by the Government and left for dead.
Short will play the team’s gunner, Pooch, a wise-cracker who refers to himself in the third person. The role will see him reunite with Sylvain White, his director on Stomp The Yard.
Joel Silver is producing the movie, which instantly puts it on our radar, via his Dark Castle company.
