Claire Danes Joins Me & Orson Welles

Claire Danes has joined the cast of Me & Orson Welles, Richard Linklater's new movie about a young man who found his way into the famed Mercury Theatre that Welles set up in 1937. The film is based on a novel by Robert Kaplow. Zac Efron will play the young man, with Danes as a young woman he falls for.

Also in the cast are Christian McKay as Welles, Ben Chaplin as stage actor George Coulouris and Kelly Reilly, Eddie Marsan, Leo Bill, Imogen Poots and Aidan McArdle in unspecified roles.

The film begins shooting on February 24 on the Isle of Man and will then film in Pinewood Studios, London and New York. You can find the filming locations by following the sound of screaming girls.
