The Boat That Rocked Posters

What better way to brighten up a cold and cloudy day than with some primary-hued new posters for The Boat That Rocked, Richard Curtis' upcoming comedy about Radio Rock, the pirate radio station broadcasting from a boat in the North Sea during the 1960s.

As you can see from these posters, they've lined up a heck of a cast for the film: the DJs include Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Count, Rhys Darby as Angus, Nick Frost as Dave, Rhys Ifans as Gavin and Chris O'Dowd as Simon. Bill Nighy is the boat owner and mastermind of the operation (we use the term "mastermind" loosely) and Kenneth Branagh is Minister Dormandy, the thorn in the radio station's side.

The film also stars Gemma Arterton, Talulah Riley, Laurence Richardson and Emma Thompson. It's out on April 1, so there's not long to wait until we see whether it's as funny as the soundtrack is rockin' (we're guessing). Click below for full-size images, and use their day-glo colours to warm you up as the snow on your shoes thaws.
