It’s clearly Trailer Day in Hollywood, as a third trailer is hitting the mighty data streams of the Internet in its QuickTime boat.
This one is for Ed Zwick’s Blood Diamond, which finds Leonardo DiCaprio’s smuggler and Djimon Hounsou’s farmer teaming up to recover a rare pink diamond that can help save both their lives. They’ll need the help of idealistic journalist Jennifer Connelly if they’re going to get the gem and escape from the civil war in 1990’s Sierra Leone with their lives…
It’s part three (South African) of Leo’s new 63 part series “The accents I can do for motion pictures” – find part one (Irish, Gangs of New York) on DVD and part two (Boston, The Departed) in cinemas this weekend) – and will hit our shores next January. But for now, see the trailer here.
