Barrymore And Long Go The Distance

If you've ever been stuck pining your loved one while stranded a gazillion miles away with only that mixtape they made you for consolation, Going The Distance is the rom-com for you. It's a funny, flip and more than a little truthful look at long-distance relationships and the heartache they can bring.

Last night's Leicester Square premiere saw the on (and one-time off) screen couple, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long, walk the natty blue carpet, along with Going The Distance's director, first-time feature maker Nanette Burstein and Lark Rise's finest, Oliver Jackson-Cohen.

Understandably, there were one or two butterflies (Barrymore had "breathe" handily marker-penned - or tattooed - on her arm) but the pair looked relaxed as they signed autographs, smiled for the cameras and generally enthused about their wonderfully skewed addition to the romantic comedy canon. You can catch it when it lands in a cinema near you on September 10.
