What do you do the second you win an Oscar? Well, if you're Alan Arkin you sign up for a TV remake. But, before you get thoughts of Dukes of Hazzard or Bewitched, Arkin's picked what sounds like a winner.
The Little Miss Sunshine star will play the chief of CONTROL in the movie version of Get Smart. For those of you without Get Smart smarts, the series CONTROL agents Maxwell Smart and his comely sidekick Agent 99 as the battled the evil forces of KAOS (those are their caps, we're not shouting at you). Smart will be played by Steve Carrell and Agent 99 by the suitably comely Anne Hathaway. The cast also includes Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Terrence Stamp.
