While hip hop rival Eminem was extracting himself from a different sort of cinematic imbroglio at the MTV music awards, Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, has taken the more tradition route back into movieland by joining cop thriller Caught In The Crossfire.
Written and directed by newcomer Brian Miller, Caught In The Crossfire sees two homicide detectives caught in the middle of a world of gang violence, dirty cops and massive SUVs. Fiddy plays - wait for it - a gang-banger turned reluctant informer, alongside Adam Rodriguez, Chris Klein and Richard T. Jones, and will also be co-funding through his Cheetah Vision banner.
Filming is underway in Grand Falls, Michigan.
