As we drift towards the hazy, lazy days of summer our minds inevitably turn to one thing: zombies. Big bleary eyed, artery chomping zombies (mmm, arteries). So what a stroke of luck that today should see the arrival of a trailer for 28 Days Later sequel 28 Weeks Later aka Won't You Zombies Just Die, You Bastards. Click here and there will be blood.
You can guess how long after the original film the sequel events take place, but they see Americans trying to repopulate a desolated Britain – because obviously only Americans are capable of saving anything – and carelessly missing the fact that they've allowed a person with zombie disease back in. Which is frightfully inconvenient and quite messy.
The sequel is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (Intacto) and is released on May 11.
