V: The Complete Series Review

V: The Complete Series

It’s a misleading title, this. The Complete Series is the series that followed V: The Original Miniseries (the one where it’s about fascism) and V: The Final Battle (the one with the Red Dust) - and this box set includes neither. Instead, this is the series in which aliens try to reconquer Earth while seeking a hybrid who may prove key to their plans and more human collaborators for the man-eating visitors. It’s shot on scrubland around LA and feels like a cheap cash-in, but it zips along at a decent pace and will just about keep you entertained while you wait for the second half of Battlestar Galactica’s fourth season.
