Apparently modelled on James Dean, this funky feline became so popular that he graduated from bit-part player introducing the films to the star of his own show.

This collection of 124 episodes maintains a quality level more consistent than that of the film franchise, although it is the big-budget theatrical shorts that prove the most engaging, with Oscar-winner Pink Phink setting the tone for the cool cat’s many run-ins with that ovoid, seemingly nude dude who displays such an aversion to the colour pink. Think! An aversion to the positively pink?
