Its obvious the two-part Office special was written after Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant thought theyd finished with the Wernham-Hogg lot; on the surface, its just an excuse to finally get Tim and Dawn together. But you cant deny how satisfying that kiss is, not to mention the oddly touching way David Brent finds love.
Plus, the laughs are still there, and are as painful as ever as they focus on Brents disastrous attempts to find post-reality TV fame.
