Green Wing: Season 1 Review

Green Wing: Season 1

One of the best British comedies in years, Green Wing combines inspired slapstick, utter

silliness and sharp observational comedy to gut-busting effect. The series feels like Scrubs’ older, filthier-minded NHS cousin, with a cast that’s a who’s who of Brit TV comedy including faces from Spaced, Black Books and Peep Show. While some may find the tricksy editing irritating, it’s worth sticking with this right through to the cliffhanger finale.
