Fortitude Review

Fortitude

This much-hyped thriller squanders its big-name cast (Tucci, Gambon, Eccleston) with sub-X-Files plotting involving a mammoth, gory murders and //lots// of ice drilling. The set-up of an erstwhile crime-free community in chaos is intriguing, but the Icelandic half-light lends a fitting pall to the gloomy goings-on. Polar meh.
