Caprica Review

Watching this genre-shifting prequel, set “58 years before The Fall” on the Battlestar Galactica universe’s capital world, it’s hard not to miss Battlestar’s stripped-down military milieux, the claustrophobia, the sheer dramatic velocity. But once you settle into the family-saga structure, you’ll realise that Caprica proves to be almost as challenging and intriguing a sci-fi as its forebear/descendant.
