That 70’s Show: Season One Review

It’s something of a shock to see the now ubiquitous cast of That ’70s Show in this first season (1998). Fresh-faced and innocent, there’s little clue they’ll go on to appear in Ocean’s Eleven, break Lindsay Lohan’s heart or date Demi Moore.

Still, there’s plenty to enjoy. Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna (Laura Prepon) fumble towards coupledom and Wilmer Valderrama’s innocent-abroad act is not yet irritating. But the show’s secret weapons are Eric’s parents, Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp), who steal every scene they’re in.
