30 Rock: Season 3 Review

In which Rock rolled its way to its highest ratings yet — plus 22 Emmy noms. How did it do it? Through star-cameo carpet-bombing (Steve Martin! Jon Hamm! Oprah!), Muppets (each lead gets a fuzzy avatar) and Alec Baldwin (triumphantly playing an evil Mexican doppelgänger of himself, “The Generalissimo”). There’s no character development, but with a zinger-count this relentless, who gives?
