We've been waiting for a while for some proper looks at Liam Hemsworth, who is taking over the lead role of Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher from Henry Cavill. Now Netflix has obliged, sending out an image and the first footage of Hemsworth in the role. Check out the video below:

And for your plot-type informational purposes, here's the official synopsis for Season 4: "After the shocking, Continent-altering events that close out the third season, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer (Anya Chalotra), and Ciri (Freya Allan), who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other.

If they can embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire and finding one another again…"

The likes of Sharlto Copley, Danny Woodburn and Laurence Fishburne are joining the ensemble for this new season, while we also know that the show will be coming to an end with the fifth season.

Season 4, meanwhile, will be out this year, but Netflix has yet to confirm a release date.
