The Mandalorian Season 3

Listen up, Grogu fans: we have good news and bad news. The good news is, we know when The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda (to give him his official name) will be back on our screens. The bad news is that it won’t be until next year. With filming on The Mandalorian Season 3 officially finished (its now Ahsoka’s turn to take over the Star Wars stages), the next batch of episodes are currently in post-production – and we now know when the episodes will arrive. Mando and Grogu will return in February 2023, as confirmed by a fresh poster for the series – one that once again simply finds the title of the show against a black background, this time with a green-hued planet, and a fresh Mando-Grogu team-up pic. Just look at that Baby Yoda head-tilt!

While the exclusive Mandalorian Season 3 footage shown at Star Wars Celebration hasn’t been unveiled online, attendees got a sneak peek at what’s in store in Season 3. For one, Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan Kryze is back, and she’s mad at the Mandalorian – likely because he’s now wielding the Darksaber. She’s not the only one upset with him; the Armorer is also furious about Din’s whole ‘removing his helmet and showing Grogu his face’ situation – and Mando will be heading back to Mandalore in order to seek forgiveness for that. And it seems we might be in for a Bo-Katan / Grogu team-up, with her saying to the little guy: “Did you think your dad was the only Mandalorian?” Plus, Carl Weathers will be back as Greef Karga, and there was a shot with tons of Kowakian Monkey-lizards all hanging in a tree together.

As for what else Season 3 will bring, we’ll have to wait until February 2023 to find out. This is the way.
