The cameras are already rolling on the next series of The Crown, with the brand new main cast taking over the roles of the Queen, Prince Philip, Charles, Diana and the rest. And we now have our first look at Imelda Staunton, which you can find above.

Staunton, of course, is the new Queen Elizabeth II, inheriting the role from Olivia Colman as the story moves through the 1990s and John Major's tenure in 10 Downing Street. Johnny Lee Miller is playing Major.

Around Staunton – who can't quite escape Dolores Umbridge vibes here – is Jonathan Pryce as Philip, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana.

Storylines for series 5 will include Diana's bombshell – and even more recently controversial Panorama interview, and its attendant fallout. Netflix has yet to confirm a start date, but the show should be back on screens next year.
