Not content with spin-offs of spin-offs from The Conjuring movies originally crafted by James Wan, Warner Bros. Discovery is at it again, kicking off development on a TV series based on the sprawling horror franchise.

With producer (and DC Studios co-CEO) Peter Safran attached as an executive producer, the potential show has Wan in talks to produce, though nothing is really known about the show since it's very early days.

The Conjuring universe so far includes the three main movies starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, plus three films about supernatural doll Annabelle and two films based around the demonic nun from The Conjuring 2. The Nun 2 is due on 9 August.
