The Boys (Season 2)

We've been waiting for the madness of The Boys to return to Prime Video and while there are still a few months to go, at least we have a solid date. As revealed in the announcement video (which doesn't give a thing away), the show will be back on 3 June.

The show, adapted from the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson's comics series, follows the group of super-powered people who have become celebrities, but as it turns out, are largely terrible. And then there are The Boys, vigilantes led by Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) looking to keep them in line by any means necessary.

It's a violent, chaotic, funny, weird show that's not afraid to shove boundaries. Among the stories we expect to see in the new season are Homelander (Anthony Starr) on an apology tour for having dating Nazi Stormfront (Aya Cash), former Boys member Hughie (Jack Quaid) joining the Federal Bureau of Superhero Affairs, and a dive into the past of superheroes with Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles). See more hints for the next run in the latest episode of in-universe news show Seven On 7...

Three episodes will launch on Friday 3 June, followed by one episode a week until the season finale on 8 July.
