Last May, we learned that Prime Video's anarchic, satirical take on superheroes, The Boys would be spinning off an animated anthology series. The first footage is now online for one of the episodes, which promises an Animaniacs style blended with all the skull destruction you might hope for from The Boys Presents: Diabolical.
The first run of the show comprises eight episodes of 12-14 minutes each and promises to reveal unseen stories within The Boys universe, written by the likes of Awkwafina, Garth Ennis, Eliot Glazer and Ilana Glazer, Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, Simon Racioppa, Justin Roiland and Ben Bayouth, Andy Samberg, and Aisha Tyler.
Yes, if you thought the main show got away with madness, this animated version promises to be even crazier and, if possible, more violent. All eight episodes of _Diabolical_will launch on Prime Video on 4 March, with The Boys itself back for Season 3 on 3 June.
