If you were waiting with eager anticipation for Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi to arrive on 25 May... then just wait longer! Yes, the show is moving its launch date, but fortunately only by two days – to Friday 27 May.

As announced by Obi-Wan himself, Ewan McGregor, the show's launch is shifting a couple of days (presumably Disney has heard the desperate pleas of the Empire spoiler special Pod gang, who were worried about so many shows to cover between Marvel and this), but in return for two days' extra patience, you'll now get two episodes initially instead of the planned one.

The show is set a few years after the events of Revenge Of The Sith, and finds Kenobi a hunted man, hiding out on Tatooine in the wake of Anakin's betrayal and the slaughter of the Jedi by his former pupil and Emperor Palpatine.

He is trying to keep the lowest of profiles on the desert planet, using low-fi transportation and checking in on a young Luke Skywalker (Grant Feely).

With Joby Harold leading the writers' room and Deborah Chow directing, Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi will kick off on Disney+, as mentioned, on 27 May.
