Following the huge success of Killing Eve and Fleabag, Phoebe Waller-Bridge has, for the most part at least, been working on other people's projects (obvious exception for Run, the series she created and appeared in for HBO, but which mostly passed pop culture consciousness by). Now, though, she's set to return with a mysterious new show for Prime Video.

It's not surprising that the company which helped take Fleabag global would jump at the chance to work with Waller-Bridge again, though all involved are keeping the details very close right now. We don't even know, for example, if this is a comedy or drama, though given who is writing (and potentially starring in) it, chances are it'll be a smooth cocktail of both.

What we do know right now is that it'll shoot later this year. And it forms part of the writer/actor's deal with Prime Video, which at one point had her starring with fellow creative powerhouse Donald Glover in a Mr And Mrs Smith TV adaptation, at least until she departed due to creative differences.

Most recently, Waller-Bridge has been working both in front of and behind the camera on a number of high-profile projects including contributing to No Time To Die's script and nabbing a role in the yet-to-be-subtitled fifth Indiana Jones movie, which recently wrapped shooting.

2023 looks to be a good year for PWB fans, then. Let's hope for a glorious return (and a few sly looks to camera.)
