Originally created by Steven Spielberg in 1985 as a way to channel the wonder he felt for shows such as The Twilight Zone, anthology series Amazing Stories ran for two seasons and showcased the work of a wealth of big name directors and stars. Apple's TV+ service has brought it back, and a new trailer for the series is online.

With Once Upon A Time showrunners Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz overseeing the series (Spielberg is also a producer), the show will feature the likes of Kerry Lynne Bishé, Juliana Canfield, Josh Holloway, Sasha Alexander, Dylan O'Brien, Sasha Lane and the late, great Robert Forster. Behind the camera are such directors as Mark Mylod, Susanna Fogel, Chris Long and Sylvain White. We're promised stories of strange happenings, emotional dramas, superheroes and odd encounters.

Amazing Stories will premiere on Apple TV+ on 6 March with five episodes of the initial 10-episode order.
