WandaVision has kept us all gripped for weeks now – which means it’s hard to accept that there are just two instalments left of the MCU’s suburban sitcom-mystery series. Thankfully, there are plenty more Disney+ Marvel series where that came from – and we have The Falcon And The Winter Soldier coming in March to keep us all distracted from the world on fire, and a WandaVision making-of documentary dropping before that too. Beyond those, we also have Loki on the horizon – and we now know exactly when that’s arriving on the streaming service.
As confirmed on social media, Loki will premiere on 11 June, bringing what looks like a wild and unpredictable new adventure for Tom Hiddleston’s trickster-god – or at least, the version of him that disappeared with the Tesseract in Endgame’s time-travel sequence set during Avengers Assemble’s Battle Of New York.
With The Falcon And The Winter Soldier confirmed to run to six episodes, that means there will be a longer break between than series and Loki, which has more to do with the still-scheduled May release of Black Widow in cinemas, depending, of course, on the status of cinemas in different markets.
In other Disney+ release news, the streaming service has confirmed that Mighty Ducks sequel show The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers starts on 26 March, Star Wars animated clone troopers series The Bad Batch launches on 4 May, The Mysterious Benedict Society kicks off on June 25, Monsters At Work (Pixar's series set in the world of Monsters, Inc.) arrive on 2 July, the Turner & Hooch TV adaptation will appear on 16 July, followed by Chip 'N Dale: Park Life on 23 July.
We're in for a wealth of new series and films from Disney+, so you should be able to find something to watch in between the Marvel shows.
