While it went through a period of development for the big screen, the adaptation of Mark Millar's Jupiter's Legacy comic book was announced in 2018 as a TV series under his big Netflix deal. Now we have the first teaser and title treatment for the show.
There's no actual footage to be found here, just narration as the camera flies through the logo, but for those who might be unaware, Legacy, created by Millar and Frank Quitely is an epic superhero drama that spans decades and navigates the complex dynamics of family, power, and loyalty. After nearly a century of keeping mankind safe, the world's first generation of superheroes must look to their children to continue the legacy. But tensions rise as the young superheroes, hungry to prove their worth, struggle to live up to their parents' legendary public reputations — and exacting personal standards.
Josh Duhamel, Leslie Bibb, Ben Daniels, Elena Kampouris, Andrew Horton, Mike Wade and Matt Lanter are the main cast for the show, launching its first eight-episode season on 7 May.
