Amazon Releases The First Look At Its I Know What You Did Last Summer Thriller Series

Little known fact: 1997's horror thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer is based on a 1973 novel by Lois Duncan. And now, for its updated TV take on the tale, Amazon is going back to the source material. With Sara Goodman heading the writers room, the series follows the familiar premise: One year after the fatal car accident that haunted their graduation night, a group of teenagers find themselves bound together by a dark secret and stalked by a brutal killer. As they try to piece together who’s after them, they reveal the dark side of their seemingly perfect town —and themselves. Everyone is hiding something, and uncovering the wrong secret could be deadly...

Madison Iseman, Bill Heck, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck and Brooke Bloom star in the show, which will kick off on Amazon Prime Video on 15 October with the first four episodes.
