The last time David Ayer and Shia LaBeouf worked together, it was on tank thriller Fury. They're joining forces again for a new crime thriller called Tax Collector.

Bobby Soto is also aboard the film, which Ayer wrote and is looking to squeeze in shooting before he makes the Bright sequel. So far, all we really know is that the movie's described as a gritty indie crime pic, and we'd have to guess that some money will change hands during the running time. Will it find a mild-mannered tax collector falling afoul of a criminal group?

Whatever the plot, Ayer aims to have shooting kick off this summer. LaBeouf has The Peanut Butter Falcon and Honey Boy headed to screens. Soto, a regular guest star on TV series and a veteran of short movies, will work on Tax Collector next.
