Not content with landing David Strathairn to co-star in his latest directorial job The Devil Has A Name, Edward James Olmos is now loading up the cast with the likes of Martin Sheen, Hayley Joel Osment, Pablo Schreiber, Katie Aselton, Alfred Molina and Kate Bosworth.
The Devil follows what happens when an unhinged oil baron gets into a bruising confrontation with a farmer (Strathairn) after the latter's water is poisoned by her company. Partly based on a true story and scripted by Rob McEveety, it'll also see Olmos playing Santiago, a Mexican immigrant and confidant of Strathairn's character.
We don't yet know what roles the new arrivals are taking, but Olmos began shooting it in Los Angeles and distributors will be looking to pick it up at the European Film Market this month.
