Kaya Scodelario has dealt with wild water before, in Pirates Of The Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge. So you'd think she could be more than capable in a scary aquatic situation, such as the one she's in talks to join for horror movie Crawl.

Alexandre Aja will be behind the camera for the film, which is planned as a low-budget thriller. Aja re-wrote a spec script by Shawn and Michael Rasmussen that will see a young woman struggling to save her father during a Category 5 hurricane in Florida. When she finds herself trapped inside a flooding house, she'll have to survive against Florida's most savage and feared predators. No, we don't mean petty criminals high on bath salts. We mean alligators!

Sam Raimi, who knows a thing or two about shooting horror movies on a budget, will produce, while Paramount is stumping up the cash.
