Director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot have been showcasing glimpses of Wonder Woman 1984 through social media already, and the director continues that with the first image of Kristen Wiig's Barbara Minerva.
While she's the movie's main antagonist, she doesn't exactly look like a threat here, but fear not: she gains feline powers and more abilities, turning into the true danger that is Cheetah.
Gadot is back as the title character, in an adventure set during the political frost of the Cold War, and we know that Chris Pine's Steve Trevor is back somehow, which will no doubt have emotional repercussions.
Pedro Pascal is also in the cast, and the movie itself will be with us later next year, likely around the time of the 1 November Stateside release.
