The casting news keeps coming for Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel Far From Home, which director Jon Watts is now busy shooting. 12 Strong's Numan Acar will be in the film.

Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon have all been spotted in London at work on the new movie, which will reportedly see Peter (who is – spoiler alert – apparently alive again despite the events of Avengers: Infinity War, unless they're playing tricks with continuity) and friends on a European vacation.

Acar's role, according to Deadline, is that of someone called "Dimitri", though in true Marvel fashion, there is no information on what he might be doing. He joins the returning likes of Marisa Tomei and Michael Keaton, plus new cast Jake Gyllenhaal (as the villainous Mysterio) and JB Smoove.

Spider-Man: Far From Home has a 5 July 2019 release date in the books, while Acar will also be seen in the new Aladdin (out 24 May next year) and the Jack Ryan series starring John Krasinski.
