Original Title:

Witch Hunt

A thoroughly engaging sequel to Cast A Deadly Spell with Dennis Hooper stepping into the role of private eye Philip Lovecraft (geddit?) previously essayed by Fred Ward and becoming embroiled in the murder of a top Hollywood producer with supernatural side-effects. Solidly directed by Paul Schrader, with a supporting cast including Penelope Ann Miller, Julian Sands and Eric Bogosian, this is pleasing concoction of witchcraft and hardboiled noir(ital) that should satiate the appetites until the arrival of Clive Barker’s similar themed Lord Of Illusions.
